Indigenous (2014) is an American horror film directed by Alastair Orr and written by Max Roberts. According to the movie, five friends—Scott, Steph, Elena, Trevor, and Charlie—go on vacation in Panama and decide to explore the jungle despite warnings about El Chupacabra. They get lost, and Charlie is killed by the creature. Scott records a distress video, which goes viral, prompting a rescue mission.
The next day, Scott, Steph, and Elena are attacked again. Steph breaks her ankle, and Elena is killed while trying to signal a helicopter. Just as Scott and Steph are about to be attacked, military personnel arrive and shoot El Chupacabra, saving them.
