The story of Out Come the Wolves (2024) revolves around a Canadian couple, Sophie and Nolan, who retreat to the woods so that Nolan, a food writer, can work on a hunting story. They invite Sophie’s old friend, Kyle, an experienced hunter, to guide them. As the three spend time together, tension builds, especially since Kyle still has feelings for Sophie, with hints of a past romantic encounter. During a hunting trip, a wolf attacks Nolan, and Kyle selfishly leaves him behind to die. The story shifts to Sophie and Kyle confronting their complex emotions and a dangerous wolf pack as they try to find Nolan.
