Gus and his allies embark on a mission to Fernando Po aboard the Swedish fishing trawler Maid of Honor, aiming to rescue SOE saboteur Geoffrey Appleyard from the Gestapo. Concurrently, Marjorie and Heron, already at Fernando Po, recruit backup and gather intelligence. Despite various challenges, including a reinforced ship hull and a mole in their ranks, they successfully hijack Nazi ships and deliver them to a British fleet. Although initially arrested, their success earns them a place in Churchill’s ‘Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’. A montage reveals their post-operation achievements, including Gus marrying Marjorie and becoming a war hero, while Ian Fleming draws inspiration from their mission for his James Bond novels.
